High Country Hamlets micro region is well endowed with natural attractions for you to explore - three National Parks (tiny Palms National Park) in the north, escarpment edge rainforest jewel Ravensbourne National Park in the south east and rocky, dramatic Crows Nest National Park to the east. Three lakes, Cooby, Perseverance and Cressbrook, a Visitor Information Centre, town parks, country gardens and Pioneer Villages are just some of the enticements to explore.

CROWS NEST MUSEUM & INFORMATION CENTRE 

A display collection of 21 buildings that make up the historical village. Being the birthplace of Ray White, it has the original business building on the grounds and also the beautiful old home of Alan White is on display as well.

Tourist information centre information on local attractions in the region. A range of local produce, souvenirs and refreshments. Parking for cars, coaches & caravans, a playground, picnic facilities and toilets. Located in Chapman Park, which is a designated overnight rest area for caravans and motorhomes
